How to read this table
The entry price is the least useful number on it. Every one of these tools bills against something that runs out, whether that's messages, credits, or compute minutes, and the tier you actually end up on depends on how much you build rather than which plan you picked on day one.
8 of these 9 let you start without a card. Use that. Build the same small thing on two of them and you'll learn more in an afternoon than any comparison table can tell you, including this one.
If you're picking one to pay for
You can already code. Cursor or GitHub Copilot. The cheapest paid option in the table is GitHub Copilot at $10/mo, and it's the right first step if you mostly want faster autocomplete rather than an agent rewriting files. Cursor costs twice that and earns it once you're doing multi-file work.
You can't, and you want a real app. Lovable, at $25/mo and the only tool here with no free tier. It costs more than an editor because it hands you a database and auth without you understanding either. That's the thing you're actually buying, and it's also the thing that will bite you the first time something breaks.
You want a site, not an app. Framer or Webflow. Framer gets you there faster, Webflow gives you more room to grow. Neither one needs the AI builders at all.
